Holt receives Prestigious Shortlist for the Tiara Talent Solutions Awards
Barnsley NHS Foundation Trust commemorates a decade of strategic partnership with Holt Doctors, a top-tier provider of specialist healthcare staffing services and managed services. This milestone is underlined by breakthrough advancements in workforce efficiency, cost reduction, and the nurturing of cooperative practices with NHS Trusts across the region.
Holt Doctors, known for its unique partnership approach and groundbreaking cloud-based locum management system, LMS, has been pivotal in revolutionising workforce management at Barnsley NHS Foundation Trust.
Their ten-year partnership has yielded significant achievements such as successful rate reduction initiatives, the establishment of the first collaborative regional bank for doctors (Care1Bank), and significant savings on locum expenditure. Throughout the contract, a 90% fill rate for locum shifts has been maintained, with yearly spending reduced from £4.6 million to £2 million over the course of the first 6 years.
The collaboration has seen Holt Doctors shortlisted for the prestigious Tiara Talent Solutions Awards in the Long-Term Partnership category. The Tiara Talent Solutions Awards sets the standard for excellence in the RPO/MSP sector across Europe, with the winners set to be announced on Thursday, 21st September 2023. This recognition underscores the remarkable achievements of their joint commitment to healthcare recruitment and workforce management, particularly during challenging times, such as the Covid-19 pandemic.
Holt Doctors has been instrumental in promoting shared best practices and creating initiatives aligned with the NHS People Plan (2020) and now the NHS Long Term Workforce plan (2023). This includes the setup of a regional steering group, consisting of three ICBs and nine NHS Trusts, promoting process efficiencies and fostering collaboration on an unprecedented scale.
