NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde serves a population of 1.2 million and employs around 38,000 staff – it is the largest NHS organisation in Scotland and one of the largest in the UK. There are more than 300 GP Surgeries (General Practitioners) in the area and 35 Hospitals of different types.
