The M25 runs around the city connecting motorways to the city with the A1 and M1 travelling north through the Midlands and into Yorkshire, the M1 stopping at Leeds and the A1 going all the way up through the North East and to Edinburgh. The M20 heads to the south east coast, the M4 over to Bristol and then into the south of Wales and the M40 up to Birmingham linking with the Midlands.
