With 17,000 employees, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust are one of the busiest and also the second largest trust in England. Sheffield is a great location in the country in terms of transport links, via rail it is only 45 minutes from Leeds, 50 minutes from Manchester, 1 hour 15 minutes from Birmingham and just 2 hours from London – with the trust being just a 35 minute walk or 20 minute bus journey from Sheffield train station. There is also good access via road as well – 1 hour from Leeds, 1 hour 30 minutes from Manchester, 2 hours from Birmingham and 3 hours 40 minutes from London.
