They also support parents to help their children through difficult times, equip professionals to provide the best possible support to the young people that they work with, and empower young people to change their world.
£5 can pay for an information pack raising awareness about mental health in schools. This will help to provide expert knowledge about mental health to professionals, parents and young people and help to build a society where mental health has no attached stigma.
£15 supports one volunteer a day on our Parents Helpline. Given that last year, we helped over 12,500 families in crisis and the demand for the Parents Helpline is increasing dramatically, it is very important that our volunteers are fully supported.
£25 can help a distressed parent who rings our Parents Helpline, allowing them to receive vital support, including information and advice to any worries about the emotional problems, behaviour or mental health of their child or a young person.
£35 will provide a parent with a 50 minute telephone call with a mental health professional. Given that access to professional help can take months, or even years, this fast and efficient service is vital.
