Finalists for Excellence in Supply Awards 2014 - NHS NW Procurement

Posted on 06 November 2014

Holt Doctors - Finalists Excellent in SupplyHolt Doctors is proud to announce that it is a finalist at the NHS North West Procurement Development Excellence in Supply Awards 2014 in the Non-clinical innovation category. The event promotes and celebrates private sector organisations working in partnership with the NHS to deliver high quality, effective and efficient patient care and in helping the health service to do more for less. The winners will be announced tonight at the awards ceremony taking place in Blackpool.

We have been selected for the work undertaken at Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust “CMFT” where we have helped the Trust make sustainable savings and increase efficiencies in the recruitment of locum doctors. This was primarily through the implementation of our IT recruitment platform LMS across the Trust’s seven hospital sites to provide a centralised and fully automated electronic booking process. Holt Doctors’ team of IT and recruitment professionals tailored LMS to specifically meet the requirements of the medical staffing team and the processes at the Trust which led to significant reductions in CMFT’s time spent communicating with agencies.

LMS ensures that all doctors forwarded to the Trust are high quality candidates and that they fully meet all the compliance requirements. Only the most suitable doctors for the job will be forwarded after being filtered through LMS, helping to maintain high standards across the board. Not only have we saved CMFT time but also money. The successful installation of LMS led to savings of £250,000 in the first year alone!

This is a great result which we are proud to be able to share, made possible by the effort of both teams from Holt Doctors and CMFT who worked together to deliver excellence across the board.
